SPOKANE, Wash. -- In light of the Boston bomb attacks, organizers in Spokane for an upcoming race are putting crisis and security plans in place.
The Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is still scheduled to happen on Sunday. The race winds through Downtown Spokane.
Race organizers said they are working closely with Spokane public safety officials to ensure the publice safety.
Race Chair, Shae Fasbender, syas the race committe is required to have an emergency crisis plan in place.
The race raises money to fight breast cancer..
