SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane Police Department safely located a missing girl early Thursday at her school.

Janna Smith, 13, was reported missing after leaving her home at 2600 East 38th Wednesday afternoon around 4:30 p.m.  Police said she functions at the 8-9 year old level.

Police searched Spokane's South Hill overnight for the girl, even bringing out Air One.

Police did not release the details of how they found the girl.  But they did say that she is safe.
