SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash.-- The Spokane County Investigative Support Unit served two search warrants Thursday for a controlled substance investigation.

The first warrant was served early Thursday morning near the 5200 block of N. Hawthorne Street. Authorities were looking for Mitchell Davis, 29. Davis is wanted for an active, no bond felony warrant for escape through the Department of Corrections.

Davis was not found. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

The second warrant was served near the 1900 block of West Mallon. Rex Murphy, 47, was taken into custody at the home for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Murphy was recently released from prison after a 13 year sentence.

The investigation is still on-going and additional warrants and arrests are expected.
