SPOKANE, Wash. --Spokane Police Officers arrested 28-year-old Benjamin Harrison after an in-home caregiver interrupted him while he was burglarizing a home. Harrison ran from the residence and police located and arrested him after a short foot pursuit.

On July 25th, around 11:00 p.m, Spokane Police responded to the area of 32nd and Napa. The caregiver had just arrived at her place of employment when she heard a noise. She went to investigate and came face to face with the man burglarizing the residence.

As Hanson fled from the scene, he dropped numerous items. The items were later discovered to be property stolen in the burglary.

Hanson was booked into jail for residential burglary, possession of burglary and two felony warrants. One warrant was a Department of Corrections Escape warrant and the second was for third Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.
