SPOKANE, Wash.-- Friday marks the Annual "Spare a Square" toilet paper drive.

The drive will benefit several local charities including St. Margaret's Shelter, The Union Gospel Mission and Catholic Charities.  Toiletries are always in need at local shelter's, yet it isn't always included in the regular donations.  These local charities said the need for toilet paper is great, especially for those on a fixed income.

It is such a simple essential, yet it is not covered by food stamps. For Christina Duhamel, a resident at St. Margaret's Shelter, it is greatly needed and appreciated.

If you want to make a donation, just stop by your local Albertsons anytime today between 7am and 7pm to drop off those of toilet paper.
