SPOKANE, Wash.-- Fire crews were called out early Monday after a home in Spokane’s Browne’s Addition caught fire.
The Spokane Fire Department received the call around 3 a.m. and saw flames through a window when they arrived at the home on the 3200 block of W. Rosamond Avenue.
Emergency crews said the family in three made it out safely after the fire alarm woke them up.
When crews got on scene, firefighters quickly knocked out an upstairs bedrooms window and put out the fire. They contained damage to a bedroom but experts reported serious smoke damage throughout the home. All of the contents in the bedroom were also destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage was estimated around $20,000.
