SPOKANE, Wash. -- Drivers took it slow and steady for the Wednesday morning commute.

There were no major wrecks but some drivers experienced compact snow and ice on the roads in the Spokane area.  Highway 195 south of I-90 had decreased visibility heading toward Whitman County.

Around 6 a.m., A 21-year-old woman slid off the I-90 on-ramp from Highway 2.  The woman was shaken up but not injured.  The car suffered no major damage.
