SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -- Friday’s wintery weather made for slick conditions and a busy day for emergency crews on local roadways.

Dozens of wrecks and slide offs were reported across the area.  Washington State Patrol alone responded to nearly 60 collisions in Spokane County from 1-6 p.m.

Some of the worst crashes happened at I-90 and Garden Springs and on Highway 195 South of Hatch. At one point, authorities responded to six accidents all at the same time, including several rollovers.
