SPOKANE--Sharlotte McGill's daughter Billie wants to keep the story of her mother’s murder alive and in the public because she hopes it’ll help catch her killer.
Billie and other family members have yet to speak publicly about the murders, but KREM2’s Ashley Korslien has been in constant contact with her. Billie is dealing with a lot of grief right now and isn’t quite ready to make an official statement.
She talked about the kind of person Sharlotte was and says she lost her best friend.
Sharlotte’s ex-husband Rickey says both mother and daughter were close and that Sharlotte’s murder has made a huge impact on the family. Rickey says Sharlotte’s murder is a “horrible thing.”
A memorial fund has been set up to help Billie. Donations can be made at Numerica Credit Union.
