SPOKANE, Wash. - A semi with 240 gallons of fuel caught fire on Interstate 90 in Downtown Spokane Saturday morning.
The fire was reported around 6:15 a.m. as the truck was stopped in the right lane on eastbound I-90 just east of the Maple Street exit.
No one was hurt in the fire and the fire never reached the diesel fuel on board, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Firefighters put the fire out in less than 20 minutes.
The right lane on I-90 eastbound near the Maple St. exit was blocked for a short time while crews worked to tow the semi away.
Troopers did not report the cause of the fire.
