SANDPOINT, Idaho -- The Sandpoint Fire Fighters are a little harrier than normal these days.
For 27 days and counting, fire crews have been growing out mustaches like a lot of others world-wide.
It is part of a month-long global event called “Movember”. The event raises money and awareness for men’s health concerns like prostate and testicular cancer.
The fire fighters are hosting a fundraiser Wednesday night at Mack and Duffs Brewing Company in downtown Sandpoint.
The event is $10 for people with a mustache and $15 for those without facial hair.
The guys said they’ll shave come December 1.
