POST FALLS, Idaho -- Police are expanding their search for a man wanted for kidnapping and extortion.  Police say they got a tip from a neighbor living near the Spokane River spotting Joshua Moses, 28, of Spokane.  Police are searching the river bank with a K9 but they have not found anything.

This all started as a standoff at a Post Falls home at the intersection of 18th and North Compton.  Around noon Thursday, police knocked on the door with a search and arrest warrant for Moses.  The owner of the home said the suspect was inside and had a handgun.  Detectives pulled back and called SWAT.

Police say Moses is suspected of being involved in a drug deal gone bad on Saturday.  They say a 30-year-old man was tied up during the drug deal.
