LINCOLN COUNTY, Wash. -- Sheriff’s deputies, SWAT, and hostage negotiators responded to what was initially thought to be a possible hostage situation in the Edwall area Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded to an area near Stangland and Tucker Prairie Road. The Sheriff's Office reported the person thought to be a victim in the incident called police because she was arguing with her husband. She was not at the residence and arrived at one of the road blocks law enforcement had set up, investigators said.
Deputies said the incident was no longer a hostage situation but an argument call. Authorities planned to clear the scene.
