SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane County Medical Examiner ruled that a South Spokane man committed suicide. An autopsy Monday revealed the cause of death for Warren C. Schrempp Jr., 62.
The Medical Examiner said that Schrempp died from a gunshot wound to the head.
His body was found on Sunday night when authorities responded to a burglary call near Havana and Sumac.
Police allegedly discovered a pot grow on the property too. Deputies say they then heard a muffled gunshot while investigating and retreated. They called in the SWAT as a precaution.
Deputies entered the house around 11 p.m. after obtaining a search warrant and found a body inside.
