SPD searches for armed robber near Baskin-Robbins

SPOKANE, Wash.—A Baskin-Robbins in Northwest Spokane was held up around 2:30 p.m. near Monroe and Indiana on Tuesday. Officers described the armed robbery suspect as a white male, approximately 30-years-old about 6’0”, with a grey jacket and grey hat.

The business was robbed at gunpoint and the suspect demanded cash. Police said the suspect fled on foot North up Monroe.

Spokane Police said they are investigating the possibility that the robbery is related to other recent Spokane robberies. The Baskin-Robbins robbery is the tenth robbery in the City of Spokane since February 28, 2014.

Detectives were also searching for a vehicle of interest in connection other previous robberies. The vehicle of interest is described as a burgundy/maroon Chrysler PT Cruiser.
