SPOKANE, Wash. -- Two men suffered knife wounds near Sprague and Magnolia Thursday night according to Spokane Police.
Authorities said they were called to a domestic dispute between a man and a woman earlier that evening. They were told the man was armed with a knife.
Police said when they arrived they found the man on the ground on Sprague and Magnolia with multiple stab wounds. They also said they found a second man with cuts to his hands a block away from the first man.
Officials said the first man with multiple stab wounds was transported to the hospital. Police said he was uncooperative and intoxicated.
Police also said that the woman involved in the domestic dispute fled. She is not considered a suspect, but is thought to have been involved according to Spokane Police.
One of the men told officers that he and the other man were on the ground fighting when a woman stabbed the other man in an attempt to stop him from assaulting him.
Police said during the stabbing, the woman cut one of the men while trying to protect him.
Officials said they have not found a weapon. No arrests have been made.
