SPOKANE, Wash. -- In light of the Boston bomb attacks, runners and walkers still attended The Race For The Cure in Downtown Spokane.

There were thousands of people there wearing pink and supporting finding a cure for breast cancer.

KREM 2's Tom Sherry, Jane McCarthy, KREMJen, Laura Papetti and Katie Boer all participated in the race.

The race started at 8 Sunday morning and ended at 11 a.m.
