SPIRIT LAKE-- The community of Spirit Lake Idaho is mourning the loss of teenager found dead over the weekend and the victim's friends and family released exclusive details surrounding his death to KREM 2 News.

We spoke with the victim's sister and her friend. Both of them tell me the stories of what happened that night are changing every day.

Luke Anana Kuewa was found Sunday morning. The body of the 18-year-old was found in the water by two hikers Sunday in an area known as the Mill Pond at Spirit Lake.

Cheyenne Gibson a family friend, said “I want to know my family wants to know the truth, what happened out there.”

Lolisa Kuewa says the truth is hard to find. She wants to know what happened to her older brother Luke.

Lolisa and her friend Cheyenne say stories of what happened to Luke are circulating but constantly evolving. “They were all different. Everyone's story was the same and didn't add up at the same time.”

Kuewa claims some witnesses say Luke committed suicide after smoking marijuana laced with PCP and others allegedly told her the 18-year-old was attacked.

Lolisa says inconsistencies may be covering people's tracks. “I think they’re scared and they don't want to get in trouble of what happened.”

Investigators are not releasing any new details. They aren't even telling us exactly how Luke died.

Officials are calling the different stories, speculation and say they are only looking for facts.
