Rathdrum, Idaho-- Hundreds of students filled Betty Kiefer Elementary School’s gym with patriotic songs and performances to say thank you to our local veterans.
Dozens of veterans who fought in wars including Vietnam and the recent campaigns Iraq and Afghanistan attended.
“I really want to go out there and hug them for saving our lives and making sure we’re alive,” sixth grader Charlie said.
This was the school's nineteenth Veterans Day celebration.
