SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.— Half four-wheeler, half jet ski. The Quad Ski made its way to the Pacific Northwest in June.

A Spokane Valley company was one of the few dealerships on the West Coast and the first in the Pacific Northwest to carry the product.

The Quad Ski could go from land to water in just seconds. It could reach speeds of 45 mph.

“This is the brand new Gibbs Quad Ski. It's an amphibious ATV. So land and water, we can do 45 miles an hour, nothing is going to stop it,” said Mitch Sloyer with Empire Cycle and Power Sports.

You drive into the water, push a button, and up go the wheels.

The Quad Ski was developed over the course of 15 years and had only been on the market for less than a year in 2014.

Empire Cycle of Spokane Valley was the first dealership in the Northwest to land one of the devices.

"It runs just like any standard jet ski. You can spin it around. You can run out across the wakes and waves, it is just a whole heck of a lot of fun,” said Sloyer.

The Quad Ski came with a price tag of $45,000.
