SPOKANE VALLEY -- A pursuit ended Wednesday night with a wreck and two people being taken to the hospital.
Spokane Valley authorities said the pursuit started during a routine traffic stop around 10:30 p.m. Authorities began chasing a red van near Sinto and Argonne. The pursuit ended near Herald and Valleyway when the driver swerved into the path of an oncoming patrol car and crashed.
Emergency crews pulled a man and a woman out of the van. Both suffered broken bones and were taken to local hospitals.
Authorities said the driver could face felony charges for nearly hitting a patrol vehicle.
