Coeur d’Alene, Idaho-- Members of the group ElderHelp of North Idaho will host an event called Punkin’ Chunkin’ Saturday afternoon at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.
Just imagine pumpkins being catapulted across the fairgrounds, that’s what will happen.
You can launch the pumpkins for a few dollars each turn. The money will go to help senior citizens in Kootenai County.
“Believe me there are plenty of them, there are thousands of them living on less than $1,000 a month,” group Spokesperson Jerry Boggs said.
The event is only on Saturday.
