SPOKANE, Wash.—Hundreds marched in the Pride Parade through Downtown Saturday to kick-off the 2014 Spokane Rainbow Festival.

The annual event, organized by OutSpokane, brings together members of the GLBTQA community.  The first parade in 1992 honored those who participated in the New York police raids, known as the Stonewall Riots, which became a turning point for the gay rights movement.

Participants dressed up in the colors of the rainbow and celebrated at Riverfront Park after the parade.
