MATTAWA, Wash.-- A pregnant woman was shot and killed in Grant County late Saturday.
Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 800 block of Third Place in Mattawa around 11:00 p.m.
Emergency crews found the woman suffering from gunshot wounds and transported her to Othello Community Hospital, where she later died. She was 7-and-a-half months pregnant. The baby did not survive.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
