KELLER, Wash.-- A power pole caught fire Thursday morning and cut off power in Keller.

The fire caused a transmitter to break down cutting of power to 283 customers around 9:20 a.m. Most local businesses were without power Thursday and Friday including the local grocery store, gas station and health clinic. The post office was open Friday.

Crews are working to have power back by Friday evening.
