 POST FALLS, Idaho -- Post Falls is getting into the holiday spirit with some unique Christmas decorations.

The City’s park staff will be hanging giant lighted snowflakes for the Winterfest Celebration at City Hall on Wednesday.

The snowflakes are unique because the staff designed and built them from recycles materials of old signs and old duathlon bike racks.

The Winterfest Celebration is Friday, Dec. 7.

Winterfest Schedule
4:30-5:30pm     Strategic Plan Open House and Q & A
4:30-6:00pm     Meet Shelly Enderud, new City Administrator
6:00pm          Welcome to Winterfest 2012
6:05pm          Holiday kick off – Tree Lighting
6:15-8:00pm     Make & Take Christmas Crafts for Kids
6:15pm          Post Falls Highs School Special Choir, Troubadours
6:35pm          Reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” by Mayor Larkin. Kids of all                 ages are invited!
6:45pm          Breakout Choir
7:15pm          Ponderosa Elementary School Special Chorus 
7:30pm.         Santa Claus is coming to town!

Refreshments of cider & cookies will be served throughout the evening
