SPOKANE -- A Post Falls man died being hit by his own vehicle near Wallace on July 7.
The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office says 49 yr old Raymond Martin’s vehicle was unattended and fully loaded with firewood when it struck him on Little Guard Peak Road, off Coeur d’Alene River Road.
The vehicle continued down the road and went over a steep embankment.
Martin was transported the Shoshone Base camp to meet up with Medstar, but he died shortly after.
Deputies say drugs and alcohol to do appear to be a factor, and that Martin was alone when it happened.
