SPOKANE, Wash. -- The mother of a possible murder suspect took to the internet to speak out about her son.

Avondre Graham’s mother is concerned about the treatment of her son, since he’s not legally an adult. On her Facebook page, Stephanie Miramontes said, in part, “He has rights. He is still a minor. I am just trying to get some help right now.”

She added their friends and family are praying for her son.

“Please, Lord, watch over my son, for I know he feels alone, but he needs to know the family is right here behind him.”

Graham was arrested after his suspected involvement in an attack on the Centennial Trail Thursday. Spokane police say his description matches that of the one Sharlotte McGill gave just before she died of stab wounds in May.
