CHENEY, WA-- Cheney Police are looking for a driver after a pedestrian was hit at North 2nd and Spokane Street in Cheney.
It happened Thursday night just before 7 p.m.
A witness told police a mid to full size red pickup truck traveling up Spokane Street from First Street appeared to slow down briefly before hitting a 17-year-old girl. The truck then continued up North 2nd Street without stopping.
The girl was knocked to the ground. The vehicle has some minor damage.
The teen says she did not see the truck.
She was transported to Sacred Heart but is expected to recover.
