Surveillance video shows Banner Bank robbery suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. – Security cameras caught a glimpse of the man police said robbed the Banner Bank inside the Safeway store on E. Mission near Hamilton.
 
Officers said that just after 11:00 a.m., officers received a call of a robbery at the Banner Bank.  Authorities arrived and used a K9 to try to track the suspect. The area around the bank was cleared for the search.

Officials said the suspect walked in to the bank, showed a note and demanded money. No weapon was seen and the suspect ran away from the scene according to Spokane Police Department leaders. 

Authorities said the suspect took off northeast from the bank.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30’s, weighs 225 pounds, was wearing a gray jacket, jeans, a white t-shirt and gray baseball hat.
