SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane police are searching for the suspects in an armed robbery at a pizza restaurant.

It happened just after 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Pizza Rita shop in the 5500 block of North Wall.

Employees say two men came into the store wearing masks, demanded money and pointed a gun at them. They took the money and fled on foot. The employees were not harmed.

Police set up a perimeter around the store and used a K-9 to track the suspects. That search came up empty.

The Spokane Police Department is working to determine if the same men are behind an earlier robbery at Hot Toddy’s Coffee in the 100 block of West Francis. The barista refused to hand over cash to the two men, who reportedly pointed a gun at her.

The suspects are described as two white men wearing blue jackets.

On Pizza Rita's Facebook page, the company says it's offering 100 free large pizzas to anyone with information leading to a conviction.

Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
