SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police said they believe a North Spokane murder is gang related.

Police say suspect Salvador Rivera-Romero is a gang member.  He’s wanted for first degree murder.

Police believe he shot and killed a man at a home near Spofford and Wall near North Central High School and took off.

Rivera-Romero was last seen around 6 p.m. Sunday leaving the scene in a dark colored Dodge Intrepid sedan.

Police arrived a short time later and found a man dead inside the home from a gunshot wound.

Police took three people in for questioning who were home at the time.

Police aren't releasing the name of the victim until an autopsy is performed and his family is notified.

"I don't really like to see that stuff in the neighborhood. There's a lot of kids around, but it's just a reality of where we live.. the times right now," said neighbor Steven Viers.

Anyone with information about this deadly shooting is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
