DEER PARK, Wash. -- Police are investigating a suspicious death in Deer Park Saturday.
Officials spent hours at a home on Saturday on 6th Street.
They say a family requested a welfare check of a woman in her 40s at her home. When police arrived, they say the found the woman dead.
Officials have not told us why they believe the death is suspicious, but say an investigation is ongoing.
The woman’s identity has not yet been released and an autopsy will be scheduled for some time next week.
