SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane Police detective are continuing to investigate two armed robberies from May 19. Detectives are working to determine if the incidents are related.
The first robberies happened just after 10 a.m. at the Subway on the 3500 block of E. Sprague. Police said the suspect entered the store, showed a handgun and demanded money from the cashier.
The suspect was described as a being a tan white or Hispanic male, 5’7”, 20-30 years-old with a medium build and wearing dark clothes, a light gray sweatshirt and dark shoes.
The second robbery was after 8 p.m. at the Taco Time in the 300 block of W. Third Ave. Police said the suspect showed a handgun and demanded cash. He fled on foot with the money.
The suspect in this robbery was described as a white male, between 5’5” and 5’7”, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and dark colored shoes.
