COEUR D’ALENE-- Coeur d’Alene Police Detectives are investigating an auto burglary that occurred in the Sanders Beach area in the 900 block of E. Young Ave on July 26th 2012.
Officials say the victim left his vehicle in his driveway unlocked with his wallet in it and last saw it secure between midnight and 4:00 am on July 26th. Around 4:00a.m. he stated receiving calls from Citi Bank about fraudulent activity on his credit card.
The victim later discovered his car had been entered and his wallet stolen along with miscellaneous personal items. The credit card was used in several locations in Coeur d’Alene. Detectives were able to obtain surveillance video from Walgreens where the card was used by three suspects.
A male and two females are captured on camera at the cash register and exiting the store after having charged $185.00 on the stolen credit card.
