SPOKANE -- Spokane Police identified the suspect in the shooting death of a man inside a North Spokane home.

Detectives are looking to arrest Salvador Rivera-Romero for 1st Degree Murder.

Police said someone called 911 Sunday evening after hearing gunshots near Spofford and Wall.

When officers arrived, they found an adult man dead from a gunshot wound inside a home in the 1600 block of N. Wall Street.

Officers questioned three people who were believed to be at the home where the victim died. Police said Rivera-Romero was last seen leaving the area in a dark-colored Dodge Intrepid.

The name of the victim is being withheld until an autopsy is performed and family members are notified.
