SPOKANE-- Gunfire interrupted a Spokane couple as they watched the Olympics early Friday morning.

It happened around 5:30 in the 5000 block of N. Madison.

Homeowner Pam Mims said she was watching TV with her husband when she heard a noise. Mims thought something in her house fell over before they realized shots had been fired.

The couple was afraid to go outside, so they called 911. Police arrived to find five bullet holes in a car and four bullet holes in the garage. One of the bullets even made it inside the house.

No one was injured, but police continue to search for suspects. The homeowners say they keep to themselves, and they have no idea who would have shot at their home.

“I don’t know why this happened. It was very scary,” Mims said.
