SPOKANE-- Spokane police received a tip that 25-year-old Jakob McMath was going to rob a gas station and was also driving a stolen red Honda Civic Saturday. At 11:00 p.m. the Fairco Mini-Mart at 2020 W. Francis reported that they were robbed by a white male wearing a mask and blue hoodie. The victim reported that the suspect left on foot east toward Rosauers. About a half hour later, the Honda Civic was spotted by an officer headed north on Maple near Northwest Boulevard. Police stopped McMath and arrested him. He is now in the Spokane County Jail on first degree robbery and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
