SPOKANE, Wash. -- A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was stabbed in a Spokane neighborhood.
The victim was hit once in the ear early Wednesday morning near 1st and Helena.
Medics took the victim to the hospital to be examined.
Witnesses reported seeing two men flee the scene after the crime and run into a home near Pacific and Helena.
Officers arrested David Stephens at that home. He was intoxicated and could not give police much information. They plan to interview him again once he’s sober.
Police are still piecing together the stabbing. They aren’t yet sure how the second man is involved.
Stephens was booked into the Spokane Co. Jail for first-degree assault, domestic violence and malicious mischief for tearing up the home where he was found.
