SNAP hopes to provide assistance with energy costs for families in need. The organization says they have plenty of open appointments.
Any Spokane Co. residents who meet the poverty line guidelines are eligible. Residents simply have to show that their name appears on the heating bill.
People in need can call 509-242-2376. Appointments are open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, and last anywhere from 5-60 minutes.
