SPOKANE – A week after a mysterious pyramid of picnic tables appeared in Spokane’s Riverfront Park, people are still buzzing about it online.
Staff at the park had to use a forklift to get the tables down. A few days later, another pyramid showed up in Manito Park.
On Friday, someone created a Facebook page called “Spokane Serial Stackers” and it already has more than 800 likes.
The page is filled with photos of people stacking things, from quarters to chairs to shoes. Some fans have even created pictures like a stack of burgers towering over Riverfront Park.
One of the creators said they do not know who is behind the picnic table stacking or where they got the idea.
The trend is also getting a lot of tweets under #serialstackers.
