SPOKANE, Wash. -- Passengers on an STA bus suffered injuries when the driver slammed on his brakes to avoid a wreck.
It happened around 1 p.m. Saturday in Downtown Spokane.
The bus was headed westbound on Sprague when the driver noticed the collision. He hit the brakes to avoid it, but all the passengers flew forward.
Five people were hurt, including a 6- and 8-year-old. Medics took them to Sacred Heart for minor injuries.The driver will not be cited.
