SPOKANE, Wash.-- The Spokane Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

No one was injured according to the Spokane Fire Department.

First responders found heavy smoke coming from the upstairs of a home near the intersection of East 3rd Avenue and Ray Street. Fire officials said a mattress caught fire and caused between $5,000 and $10,000 in damage. 

Authorities said no one was home at the time.
