MOSES LAKE, Wash—Police said a 17-year-old male was shot in a drive-by shooting Monday afternoon near Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake.

Grant County Sheriff's Office said the victim was riding his bike near the 1200 block of Arlington drive when he noticed a white car with two occupants drive-by.  Police believe the car was a KIA.

The car allegedly circled the block and returned.  Police said the male passenger rolled down the window and began shooting at the victim.

Police said the victim then began riding his bike between two houses. The shooter allegedly got out of the car and continued shooting while chasing the victim on foot according to police.

The victim allegedly ran into a nearby house and called 911.  He was transported to the hospital and suffered two gun-shot wounds, one to the shoulder the other in his arm, according to police.  Officials said his injuries are not life threatening.

Police said it was not known whether the shooting was related to another driveby on the same block the night prior. Officers believe this was not a random incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
