NEAR MOSCOW, ID--One person is dead after a head on collision near Moscow, Idaho.
The accident happened about 3:30 p.m. on Highway 95 near milepost 350, north of Moscow.
Nathan N. Larson, 29, of Moscow was killed in the crash.
The Idaho State Police reports that a family of five was in a 2000 Chevy Tahoe, driving northbound on Highway 95, with Joel D. Holmes, 26, of Athol, ID at the wheel.
He lost control of the vehicle on black ice, and crossed the center line, striking Larson's 1990 Toyota Tercel head on.
The entire Holmes family was injured in the crash, and taken to Gritman Memorial Hospital. The three children are ages 3, 4, and 5. Amanda R. Holmes is 29.
Idaho State Police report that occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts. Larson was wearing a lap belt only. Next of kin has been notified, and the investigation is continuing.
