OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash.--Crews were battling a large wildfire in Okanogan County on Wednesday.

The Carlton Complex Fire burned about 2,500 acres south of Twisp, in the Methow Valley.

A KREM 2 News viewer said homeowners were being evacuated in the area. That viewer also said that the smoke was so thick with ash that it looked like it was snowing.
