LEWISTON, Idaho -- Wind gusts on the Palouse topped 50 mph Monday.
The wind bounced around some big rigs whose drivers admitted to having some tense moments on the road.
Truckers said hauling a full load made battling the wind easier.
The cities of Pullman, Moscow, Clarkston, and Lewiston had no reports of any major damages.
