SPOKANE, Wash.--A house party on North Lincoln over the weekend ended with a stabbing. Police arrested the suspect on Sunday afternoon.
Officers arrested Shanda F. White, 20, who was a guest at the party. White faces a 1st degree assault charge according to police.
Authorities said that White stabbed a woman early Sunday morning at a house party. A neighbor and his wife asked the partiers to quiet down according to officers. Police said that is when White stabbed the wife twice and fled the scene.
Police eventually tracked down White. The investigation also revealed that the stabbing victim’s husband, Shane B. Holestine, helped White hide from police. The investigation showed that he lied and misled officers during their attempt to identify and locate the suspect. Holestine was arrested for Rendering Criminal Assistance 1st Degree.
