SPOKANE, Wash. -- A FedEx plane landed at the Spokane International Airport Friday night after fire was detected on-board.
Airport officials said the FedEx DC10 left around 7:30 p.m. Friday and got 40 miles out but turned around after the crew received a detection of smoke/flames on the plane.
Authorities said the plane landed safely at the Spokane Airport around 8:00 p.m. The plane was taxied all the way to the FedEx ramp.
Officials said no smoke or flames were found on-board.
All three passengers on board were safe.
