SPOKANE, Wash. – A line of self defense products is aimed directly toward women.

Tina Wittenbrock’s husband wanted her to get a concealed permit license but she said she did not feel comfortable carrying weapons around her two children.

She did her research and found “Damsels in Defense.” It is a line of self defense products such as stun guns, tasers, and pepper sprays, specifically targeted toward women.

The products even come in different designs and colors. They even sell products aimed at keeping kids safer, such as a safety alarm for kids to wear around their necks.

“I didn’t know the difference between stun guns and tazors and I though pepper spray was pepper spray,” said Wittenbrock.

She said she now feels educated, equipped and empowered which is the motto of “Damsels in Defense.”

Wittenbrock hosts parties in the Spokane area where you can buy the defense items.
